A 10-week mentorship experience designed to help artists, creatives, and cultural organizations develop the strategies, stories, and systems needed to secure funding with confidence.

Learn a trauma-aware approach to navigating the grant writing process with confidence and clarity. Using the Cultivating Safe Spaces framework, you'll develop practical strategies to overcome barriers, strengthen your mindset, and build resilience throughout your funding journey.
Create a professional artist résumé that clearly communicates your experience, achievements, and creative impact. You'll learn how to present your work in a way that resonates with funders, juries, and potential collaborators.
Develop compelling narratives that reflect who you are, what you create, and why your work matters. Together, we'll craft an artist statement and professional bio you can use for grants, exhibitions, websites, and promotional materials.
Learn how to use the Business Model Canvas as a project planning tool to clarify your goals, identify key resources and partnerships, define your audience, and create a stronger foundation for grant-funded projects.
Transform your ideas into a well-defined project plan that funders can easily understand and support. You'll learn how to write compelling project descriptions and create SMART goals that demonstrate impact, feasibility, and measurable outcomes.
Discover how to identify funding opportunities that align with your vision and goals. You'll leave with a personalized grant research strategy, planning tools, and a roadmap to help you pursue funding with greater confidence and intention.

As a poet, writer, facilitator, and grant strategist, I've seen firsthand how overwhelming the funding process can feel. I created Circle of Collaboration to offer a different experience—one rooted in shared knowledge, practical tools, and the belief that your story deserves to be heard.
Most participants join the Circle of Collaboration to build the tools needed for proposals and grant applications.
Many stay because they want ongoing support.
Graduates receive an invitation to apply for a 12-month grant writing retainer service where Sarah becomes a strategic grant funding partner.
